Zara is an HR assistant
Zara is an AI recruiter agent that automates the entire hiring funnel—from sourcing and resume screening through conversational interviews to candidate matching—reducing time-to-hire by 90% while validating true domain expertise. Built by Micro1 as part of its Data Engine for human intelligence, Zara conducts 24/7 global vetting through multi-turn conversational interviews in 33+ languages, vector-based skills matching with expert affinity signals, and AI-generated structured skills reports that provide objective technical feedback. The tool is designed for HR teams, staffing firms, and RPOs handling high-volume or specialized hiring, particularly software engineers and domain experts, and integrates with existing ATS systems for automated interviewer scheduling. What distinguishes Zara is its focus on identifying true subject-matter experts at massive scale through hybrid generative-matching approaches and bias-reduced, hard-skills-focused feedback, rather than relying on keyword matching alone. It serves leading AI labs and enterprises across healthcare, legal, finance, and other industries that require rapid identification and vetting of human intelligence for AI training data curation and expert-driven initiatives.

Moderate risk. Suitable for internal data but avoid confidential information.
The policy states AI is used for service improvement and model training with 'appropriate safeguards,' but lacks explicit detail on whether user/employee data trains models by default. An opt-out mechanism is mentioned but not clearly defined as default-off. The separate Privacy Notice for Candidates is referenced but not provided.
“[Privacy] 'AI Development: To train and improve our AI models (with appropriate safeguards)' and 'If you wish to opt out of the use of AI Products, please contact us'”
The policy does not explicitly address the scope of content licenses granted by employers or employees when using the platform. Language focuses on data processing rather than IP licensing terms, creating ambiguity about what rights micro1 claims over generated content or interactions.

Data is shared with 'Service Providers,' 'Business Partners,' and for analytics (Google Analytics), but the policy lacks a detailed sub-processor list and does not clearly restrict sharing to essential service providers only. Cookies enable third-party advertising and remarketing, which may constitute data sharing for marketing purposes.
“[Privacy] 'We may share your information with: Service Providers, Business Partners, Legal Authorities' and 'We may allow third parties and service providers to use these technologies for analytics, advertising, and remarketing'”
Retention is described as 'as long as necessary' with vague language about backup archives and isolation. Specific retention periods are referenced as being in the separate Privacy Notice for Candidates, but that document is not provided. No clear timeline for deletion post-account termination is stated.
“[Privacy] 'We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations' and 'if this is not possible...then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible'”
The policy does not explicitly address IP ownership of outputs generated through the AI platform. The absence of clear language on whether employers/employees retain exclusive ownership of generated content creates ambiguity about vendor claims to outputs.

The policy references a Trust Center at trust.delve.co/micro1 and mentions GDPR compliance and Standard Contractual Clauses, but does not explicitly list SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or other formal certifications. Security measures are described as 'technical and organizational' but lack detailed certification evidence.
“[Privacy] 'For more information on how we protect your data, please see our Trust Center at https://trust.delve.co/micro1' and 'We implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required'”
